Toroweap and Vermillion Cliffs National Monument
This was my second trip to Toroweap and it never fails to impress. Three thousand feet straight down to the Colorado River with magnificent view in all directions. I particularly like the fact that you can see how the lava from the nearby volcanoes flowed into the canyon. The next day we were roaming around the Paria Plateau and the magnificent rock formations left me awestruck. I definitely will be going back to camp there and capture the beauty of the area at sunrise and sunset!
