The Center on Aging and Community, Indiana Institute on Disability and Community, Indiana University just posted portions of the video interviews on YouTube that they shot at my opening. The video includes Monon alumni Bob Banks and Ron Marquardt and also includes some of my interview interspersed with my McDoel yard photos. The video runs a little over seven and a half minutes and can be seen by clicking here.

My book (and .pdf) McDoel Yard: End of the Line, can be found here.

Durango & Silverton Narrow Gauge Railroad

The Durango & Silverton Railroad runs between Durango and Silverton on a route that follows the Animas River through the San Juan Mountains of Southwest Colorado. Originally it was built to service the many gold and silver mines in the area, however, now this narrow gauge beauty carries loads of happy tourists and railroad buffs on a trip through time and the gorgeous San Juan Mountains.
